LAHORE, June 18, 2026: Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited (AGTL), one of Pakistan’s leading tractor manufacturers, has joined the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition (PAC) as a patron. The two organisations formalised the partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Through this partnership, Al-Ghazi joins a coalition of leading businesses and financial institutions working to transform Pakistan’s agriculture into a private sector-led, technology-driven and globally competitive industry.
Moreover, the partnership reflects Al-Ghazi’s commitment to supporting the country’s agricultural growth agenda. The company will work closely with the government, industry and development partners to promote innovation, improve productivity and strengthen the farming sector.
Al-Ghazi also brings more than four decades of experience and strong ties with Pakistan’s farming community. As a result, the coalition expects to accelerate efforts to modernise agriculture, expand mechanisation and improve farmers’ incomes.
Agriculture remains the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and supports the livelihoods of millions. Therefore, the partnership aims to advance food security, encourage rural development and build a more resilient farm economy.
Al-Ghazi Tractors CEO Yasin Seker said the company has supported Pakistan’s farmers for more than 40 years. He added that joining PAC allows Al-Ghazi to contribute its experience to a broader national effort. Furthermore, he said the future of agriculture depends on modern technology and stronger collaboration between the private sector and the government.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Agricultural Coalition CEO Kazim Saeed welcomed Al-Ghazi to the coalition. He said the addition of a leading tractor manufacturer strengthens the coalition’s ability to develop and scale commercially viable solutions for the agriculture sector. He added that stronger private-sector participation is essential to driving sustainable growth and long-term transformation in Pakistan’s agriculture.
