KARACHI, Aug. 6, 2026: Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) Chairman and Pakistan Business Forum (Sindh Region) President Malik Khuda Bakhsh described the first Pakistan Economic Summit 2026 as a milestone for the country’s economy. He said the event demonstrated the business community’s unity behind Pakistan’s economic agenda under the leadership of United Business Group (UBG) Patron-in-Chief S.M. Tanveer.
Congratulating S.M. Tanveer, Malik Khuda Bakhsh said the successful summit reflected strong leadership and the private sector’s commitment to economic growth. He added that the event turned the business community’s collective vision into practical action.
Furthermore, he urged organizers to make the summit an annual national platform instead of a one-time event. He proposed holding future editions in all four provinces and major industrial cities to highlight regional industries, exports, investment opportunities, and economic challenges.
He expressed confidence that the Pakistan Economic Summit would become the country’s leading economic forum. According to him, it can play a key role in shaping economic policies, promoting industrial growth, boosting exports, attracting investment, and supporting sustainable development.
Malik Khuda Bakhsh also said the summit successfully brought together industrialists, exporters, business leaders, economists, and policymakers, creating a platform for constructive dialogue on Pakistan’s economic future.
