Islamabad, August 4, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Saeed on his appointment as Chairman of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).
During a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, the PM praised Lt Gen (R) Saeed’s career and expressed confidence in his ability to lead WAPDA effectively. The federal cabinet recently approved his appointment.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar also attended the meeting.
