Yango Pakistan Launches “Go to the Fields” Program to Enhance Urban Mobility Services

KARACHI, September 3, 2025: Yango Pakistan, a subsidiary of the global technology company Yango Group, has rolled out its international initiative, “Go to the Fields,” for the first time in Pakistan. The program aims to strengthen connections with local communities by placing executives directly on the frontlines of urban mobility.

The initiative kicked off in Karachi and Islamabad, where Yango’s senior leadership spent an entire day riding alongside partner drivers and observing operations to gain firsthand insights into both driver and passenger experiences.

Designed to collect direct feedback, the program will help shape improvements in service quality, safety standards, and overall customer experience, ensuring closer alignment with Pakistan’s growing urban mobility needs.

“This initiative is about transparency and accountability seeing the journey through the eyes of those who live it daily,” said Miral Sharif, Country Head at Yango Pakistan. “It reflects our commitment to a customer-first philosophy while also addressing the pain points of our partner drivers. Ultimately, it is aligned with Yango’s vision of contributing to Pakistan’s evolving mobility goals.”

As part of Yango’s global culture, “Go to the Fields” encourages employees across markets to step into operational roles, from drivers and couriers to customer support agents. The approach ensures that ground realities continuously inform strategy, making services more reliable and user-focused.

With Pakistan’s population now exceeding 251 million and nearly 100 million residents concentrated in major cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad the demand for safe, efficient ride-hailing solutions is on the rise.

After its initial rollout in Karachi and Islamabad, Yango plans to expand “Go to the Fields” to Lahore, Multan, and other key urban hubs, furthering its long-term commitment to building a smarter, safer, and more user-centric digital mobility ecosystem in Pakistan.
