Ambassador Ahmad Farooq praised the nearly eight decades of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, emphasizing shared Islamic values, mutual trust, and long-standing political, economic, and defence cooperation shaping the bilateral relationship today.

He also acknowledged the Pakistani diaspora for strengthening social and cultural ties within the Kingdom. The envoy said their contributions continued reinforcing people-to-people connections that support diplomacy and enhance bilateral goodwill.
Members of the expatriate community expressed gratitude to Ambassador Farooq for his dedicated diplomatic service. They highlighted the Embassy’s support for Pakistani workers and professionals, noting visible improvements under his leadership.

He stated that the Saudi leadership, under King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, had introduced reforms inspiring global attention. He said the programme offered a model for nations seeking economic modernization.
