KARACHI, June 22, 2026: Jubilee Life Insurance, Pakistan’s largest private-sector life insurance company, brought together persons with disabilities (PWDs), their families, and partner organisations for its “Lights. Camera. Inclusion” campaign. The company organised the event to honour parents and caregivers who support individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving personal and professional goals.
In collaboration with ConnectHear, NOWPDP, Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC), and Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), Jubilee Life marked Mother’s Day and Father’s Day through an inclusive movie experience. As a result, families shared meaningful moments in an environment designed for participation, recognition, and inclusion.
Moreover, the event welcomed PWDs, caregivers, and representatives from partner organisations, along with members of the Jubilee Life community. It also highlighted that inclusion grows not only through policies but also through human connection and shared experiences.
Speaking at the event, Jubilee Life Managing Director and CEO Javed Ahmed said caregivers often remain unseen despite their critical role. He said they provide constant support that helps individuals overcome barriers. Furthermore, he stressed that inclusion means recognising both individuals and the support systems behind their success.
Meanwhile, Group Head HRMD Farukh Iftekhar said true inclusion extends beyond the workplace. He noted that families of PWDs often go through long journeys of resilience, sacrifice, and advocacy. Therefore, he said the initiative aimed to recognise their quiet but powerful contributions.
Overall, the initiative forms part of Jubilee Life’s broader Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy. It also aligns with its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments. In addition, the company continues to partner with organisations working to improve accessibility and create opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families.
