KARACHI, June 22, 2026: Malik Khuda Bakhsh, Convener of the FPCCI Energy Standing Committee and President of the Pakistan Business Forum (Sindh Region), has praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their diplomatic efforts. He said both leaders have earned global recognition for supporting ceasefire initiatives and promoting dialogue between Iran and the United States.

He said Pakistan’s role in the ongoing negotiations over the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has received appreciation from the United States, Iran, and Gulf countries affected by the conflict. Moreover, he said these countries acknowledge Pakistan’s constructive role in reducing regional tensions.

According to Malik Khuda Bakhsh, Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement has helped promote regional stability. Furthermore, he claimed the country’s mediation efforts played an important role in preventing a wider conflict. He added that the Iran-US understanding has strengthened hopes for lasting peace in the region.

He also urged the United States to lift sanctions on Iran. He said the move would improve the regional business environment and support global economic growth.
