Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan praised Pakistan’s Trade Mission in Tashkent for promoting the country’s manufacturing excellence at a major international sporting event. He said the initiative effectively projected Pakistan’s industrial strength, export potential and positive image.
The minister said Pakistan takes pride in Sialkot’s globally recognized football industry, which continues to produce premium-quality footballs for leading international tournaments. He added that such initiatives strengthen Pakistan’s reputation as a reliable and competitive manufacturing hub.
Moreover, Jam Kamal said showcasing Pakistani products at high-profile global events can boost exports, build business confidence and deepen trade ties with partner countries, including Uzbekistan.
In collaboration with Uzbek authorities, Pakistan’s Trade Mission organized the promotional campaign at Bunyodkor Stadium and Humo Arena, where thousands of fans gathered to watch the match.
The mission highlighted “Trionda,” the official match ball of the FIFA World Cup 2026, manufactured in Sialkot by Forward Sports.
To engage local audiences, the mission translated Forward Sports’ promotional documentary into the Uzbek language. It screened the documentary before the match at both venues, showcasing Pakistan’s expertise in producing world-class footballs used in major international competitions.
