Deputy Prime Minister Orders Third-Party Evaluation for Gwadar Shipyard Land

Islamabad, August 4, 2025: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has directed a professional third-party evaluation of potential sites for the Gwadar Shipyard land allocation.

During a meeting on the project, Dar assured local representatives that the shipyard development will move forward with local consensus. The Ministry of Defence Production shared data on possible land options, revenue projections, and other project details.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, federal ministers, and officials from relevant departments.
