Pakistan’s Fast-Growing YouTube Creators Win Global Audiences

KARACHI, July 29, 2026: Pakistani creators are attracting record global audiences on YouTube, highlighting the country’s growing influence in the digital content economy.

Google said more than 140,000 Pakistani YouTube channels have surpassed 10,000 subscribers, while over 19,000 have crossed 100,000 subscribers. In addition, more than 1,200 channels now have over one million subscribers.

Creators uploaded more than 20 million hours of content over the past year. Moreover, over 60% of watch time on content produced by Pakistani channels came from audiences outside Pakistan, reflecting the global appeal of local creators.

Commenting on the milestone, Farhan Qureshi, Cluster Director for Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Frontier Markets at Google, said Pakistani creators are proving that world-class storytelling has no borders. He added that YouTube is helping them share Pakistan’s culture, creativity, and innovation with global audiences while building sustainable businesses, creating jobs, and contributing to the country’s digital economy.

Google said Pakistani creators are producing high-quality content across multiple genres, including entertainment, travel, food, education, and lifestyle.

Among the standout creators is Shahveer Jaffry, whose reality-style videos and episodic storytelling have attracted nearly four million subscribers. His content turns everyday friendships and experiences into engaging entertainment for audiences in Pakistan and abroad.

Meanwhile, WildLens by Abrar, created by Abrar Hassan, has built an audience of more than 2.2 million subscribers through travel documentaries. After riding his motorcycle from Germany to Pakistan during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hassan became a full-time creator and has since travelled to more than 90 countries, documenting his journeys in Urdu and Punjabi.

Food content also continues to perform strongly. Food Fusion, with more than five million subscribers, became the first Pakistani food channel to surpass one billion views. Likewise, Rana Hamza Saif (RHS) has attracted more than 1.6 million subscribers through food tours, restaurant reviews, and lifestyle content.

Educational content is also gaining momentum. Minoqtopus, hosted by Minahil Temur, has built a loyal audience with in-depth video essays covering technical, social, and cultural issues. Her analytical approach demonstrates growing demand for long-form educational content.

Similarly, Something Haute, founded by journalists Aamna Haider Isani and Hassan Choudary, has become one of Pakistan’s leading entertainment commentary channels. The platform gained popularity through drama reviews, celebrity interviews, and discussions on television, film, and fashion.

Google said Pakistan’s YouTube ecosystem continues to expand as more creators launch new channels and improve production quality. The company added that the growing international audience highlights the global demand for authentic Pakistani content and signals new opportunities for creators in the digital economy.
