At the New York City premiere of her film The Rip, Taylor (star of One Battle After Another) revealed to Access Hollywood that she was the one having the conversation with DiCaprio.
“Yes! He was talking to me!” she laughed, confirming the viral moment. Taylor explained that their chat may have been triggered by her excitement over K-pop group Demon Hunters winning an award that evening.
“The crazy part is, I’m kind of blacked out from that day, but I think we might have been talking about ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’ because I was so thrilled when they won — my kids love them,” she said. “I was over there just jamming, and I think he caught me jamming.”

Fans quickly tried to decode the clip, and lip-reading expert Jackie G confirmed that DiCaprio was commenting on Taylor’s reaction during the K-pop segment.
