KARACHI: JUNE 9,2026: The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has appointed Senior Vice President Muhammad Raza as Acting President with immediate effect.
President Rehan Hanif has traveled to China to attend the Kunming Trade Fair along with Chairman Fairs, Exhibitions & Trade Delegation Subcommittee Imran Moiz. Therefore, Muhammad Raza will now carry out all presidential duties during his absence.
Upon taking charge, Acting President Muhammad Raza reaffirmed his commitment to the business community. He said KCCI will continue to protect and promote the interests of traders and industry.
Moreover, he stressed that the Chamber will stay engaged with government authorities and stakeholders. It will actively address key economic, fiscal, trade, and industrial issues.
In addition, he assured members that KCCI will handle all routine and strategic matters without disruption. Consequently, ongoing initiatives will continue smoothly throughout the interim period.
