KARACHI, June 05, 2026: Zong 5G wins national recognition with a strong double victory at Pakistan Digital Awards. It secures two major honors, including the Best Social Media Campaign (Meta) for the My Zong App and the Made in Pakistan Tech Excellence Award for its Self-Intelligent RAN Optimization Platform.

Commenting on the win, Head of Marketing Sajid Munir says Zong 5G uses 5G, AI, and emerging technologies to create smarter customer experiences. He adds that the My Zong App delivers a seamless and personalized service through a single platform. Meanwhile, Zong 5G also receives the Made in Pakistan Tech Excellence Award for its Self-Intelligent RAN Optimization Platform. This marks Pakistan’s first Level 4 autonomous closed-loop network system on a live commercial network.
Importantly, Zong engineers develop the platform in just six months. The system uses AI and automation to reduce network congestion. As a result, it cuts resolution time by over 90 percent, from days to minutes. It also improves peak-hour performance by up to 18 percent.
