Google Think Apps 2025 empowers Pakistani developers through AI innovation

Lahore, October 29, 2025: Google hosted Think Apps 2025 in Lahore on October 23, uniting more than 400 of Pakistan’s top app and game developers with regional and global industry leaders.

The event – the largest of its kind in the country – aimed to empower Pakistani developers to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) for innovation, growth, and long-term sustainability in the nation’s fast-evolving digital economy.

The conference highlighted Pakistan’s rising prominence in the global app economy, with the developer community growing at an estimated 20% annually.

This momentum, according to Google, could help Pakistan achieve an additional $6.6 billion in annual digital export revenue by 2030, positioning it as a major force in the global tech landscape.

“Pakistan is home to one of the world’s fastest-growing developer communities,” said Farhan S. Qureshi, Country Director at Google Pakistan. “Think Apps 2025 reaffirms our commitment to helping these developers harness the power of AI to build globally successful, sustainable businesses.”

He added that Google’s mission is to equip Pakistani developers with tools, training, and market insights, empowering them to expand internationally while strengthening the country’s digital exports.

“By supporting innovation, we aim to unlock new economic opportunities and nurture the next generation of talent,” Qureshi emphasized.

During Think Apps 2025, participants explored how AI is transforming app development—from speeding up code generation and automating content creation to shaping entirely new app categories.

Sessions also focused on smart growth strategies, including how to leverage Google Cloud, Google Ads, AdMob, and Ad Manager for improved user acquisition, engagement, and monetization in competitive global markets.

Industry experts and developers from leading Southeast Asian studios, such as Noctua Games (Singapore and Indonesia) and Falcon Studio (Vietnam), shared success stories and insights on sustainable innovation powered by AI.

With Think Apps 2025, Google reaffirmed its long-term vision of supporting Pakistan’s developer community and positioning the country as a hub for AI-driven app innovation across Asia and beyond.
